Colin
Blanchflower - Keyboards |
|
|
Colin
started playing at a young age getting his first keyboard at six years old.
Playing has been a central part of his life since. Having versatile skills Colin plays pub piano (and is
known locally as the Piano man), keyboards, and even play a traditional
church organ with pedals, stops and all! Over
the years Colin has played in a number of bands and with some well-known
performers. He
played keyboards whilst Fish from Marillion sang lead vocals at a Live Aid
gig. Has
played in the Blues Stars with an ex Nashville Teens band member, and has
been heard and seen playing alongside various performers at a number of the
Butlin’s main venues. Whilst
based in Bognor he has played with Bossy – a twelve-piece soul and blues
band, the Rox band and the now infamous Skynt (heavy rock), the Unacceptables
(pop / rock) & Rough Edges (Blues / Soul/ Rock ‘n’ Roll). Whilst
dedicated and indebted to Southern Blues, Colin is also keyboard player with
Mosaic (Alternative / Indie Rock). The two fit nicely without detracting from
the other. There
is nothing better than being surrounded by music according to Colin - and who
can argue with that.! |
